Atomic Energy Lab - Failure Museum

In 1950, the Atomic Energy Lab was launched by the A.C. Gilbert Company. It was a toy kit allowing kids to be nuclear physicist. It came with four jars of real uranium-238. It allowed kids to make nuclear reactions at home using actual radioactive material. The manual claimed it was “safe,” but it exposed children to radiation.
