Launched in 2003 and discontinued in 2006, Hershey’s Swoops were Pringles-shaped chocolate chips. Hershey’s thought the curved shape would let chocolate melt slowly against the roof of your mouth. However, packaging was expensive and inefficient, they were fragile and messy, and consumers didn’t want to switch from ordinary Hershey’s chocolate.
